Hi Ruowen I am a librarian who is responsible for collection books for heritage languages including chinese. Books that can be used to teach chinese to children K-12. Do you plan on writing bilingual books. Additionally, I like to buy books in English that are translations of Chinese stories. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you

Ruowen, in my storytimes at library and at home with my children, I love to utilize your muliticulural and diverse stories full of childhood wonder, tradition and myth and my favourite--family love. As an ESL specialist/instructor I believe Canada needs to continue to publish more, more, more talent......:-) Thank you!

So many days that I'm seaching for your contact with no success! Today is probably a miracle for me. I am very happy to know that you are still the same dreamer, the same troublesome girl, but more responsible than yesterday. I'm also infinitely happy to visit your website that you accept to share with all, ... and me too. Can you, please, write me back to let me know that you got my message, and, by the occasion, give me your e-mail adress? I already thank you for that. Happy New Year for you and all your family.

Hi Ruowen! Thanks for sharing your website with me. It was so exciting to read about your life both before and after you chose to become a writer. May you continue to surprise, delight and inspire through words for many years!
I loved the illustrations in LITTLE WEN: CHINESE SAYING Saying because they recall China in an earlier phase of its economic development.  I admired ARE YOU THINKING because you have pushed out of the “Chinese Canadian envelop” to produce a story that is universal, without any reference to being Chinese.  And I enjoyed SHARE THE MOON because it addressed the realities of contemporary immigration honestly and with heart.” —— Paul Yee, a Chinese-Canadian writer, winner of the 1996 Governor General's Award for English language children's literature
